Bird of Paradise — Large Floor Plant

Strelitzia nicolai brings large, banana-like paddle leaves and real vertical presence to a room. It is the plant to choose when a corner needs filling properly rather than decorating. Given a bright spot it grows steadily; leaf splitting along the edges is natural and not a sign of poor health.
