Gardening, resized for the Indian apartment.
We are a small team in India building a plant shop for the way people here actually live — in flats, with limited light, limited floor space and limited time.

Every guide assumed a garden we didn't have
Fernkrafts began with a frustration familiar to anyone who has tried to keep plants in a city flat: the advice never matched the space. Guides talked about soil beds and morning sun; we had a shaded balcony, a west-facing window and a landlord who would not allow drilling.
So we started over. We took the plants that actually survived in our own apartments, worked out what they genuinely needed, and built a catalogue around that instead of around what a nursery happened to have in stock.

If it doesn't survive our flats, it doesn't ship
Every plant we list spends time in a real home first — usually one of ours. We note how it behaves in low light, how it reacts to an air conditioner running eight hours a day, and how long it holds out when somebody forgets it over a long weekend.
Plants that only thrive under ideal conditions do not make it onto the site, however well they photograph. What is left is a smaller catalogue than most, made up of things we are confident will still be alive in six months.

Making the second plant easier than the first
Most people who buy a plant and lose it do not try again. That is the problem we are actually working on: care guides written in plain language, honest labelling about what a plant needs, and packaging that does not undo months of growing in four days of transit.
The shop is one part of it. The care guides, the plant guarantee and the follow-up advice are the rest.
Four things we don't compromise on
Tested in real flats
Every plant in the catalogue has lived in an actual apartment before it reaches the site — same light, same air conditioning, same neglect.
Small-space first
We size everything for a metre of balcony or a shared desk, not for a garden most of our customers will never have.
7-day plant guarantee
If something arrives unhappy, send a photo within 48 hours and we replace it. No ticket queue, no argument.
Packed to survive transit
Moulded packaging that keeps the root ball intact across a four-day journey and a few rough handovers.
Start with one plant.
Pick something forgiving, put it somewhere you'll see it daily, and go from there. We'll help with the rest.
