Setting Up a Corporate Gifting Program That Doesn't Feel Generic

Branded mugs get left in the pantry. A plant on a desk lasts years. What to think about when you are gifting to 50, 200 or 2,000 employees.

The failure mode of corporate gifting is volume thinking: pick one SKU, order 500, ship them all to one office. It works logistically and lands flat. A better starting point is to segment even slightly — new joiners get a starter kit with care instructions, long-tenure employees get something with more presence, clients get the packaging upgrade.
Plan for aftercare too. A plant that dies in three weeks is worse than no gift at all. A printed care card, or a QR code linking to a two-minute guide, costs almost nothing and dramatically changes how long the gift survives on a desk.
